| I just got the Allen/Remington rest. I have not had a chance to take it to the range. But from a mechanical point of view, it is reasonabley well made. A touch of lube on the screw and locking nut would make things work a bite smoother. I am going to tweak the lock screws a bit by deburring the ends and flatten the threaded height adjusting column so the pad base lock nut really locks the top of the rest. Altogether, it is a great buy, durable and heavy enough. However, the box says it comes with rubber pads for the feet. None are in the box and its no big deal. The instructions do not show rubber pads. | ||||
