Seems to help (4/5) Jan 7, 2013 Jerry T Clayton nc US
Although still getting used to it, it really is not a distraction, very bright and I seem to see the lead and target, it does seem to make me aware I am ahead of the Clay, I just need more time with it to really tell, I know I don't follow through on shots so my vault, but I do see the dot in front when leading, need to just give more and move gun through shot I guess.
Easy Hit USA Sights (5/5) Aug 5, 2009 Bart Garner Salt Lake City UT US
I discovered the Tom Knapp Easy Hit USA Sights about 2 years ago. My guess is he endorses and uses them and Easy Hit USA manufactured them and sold them direct via there website and some stores. It looks like Champion Targets now owns and/or markets them but they haven't changed the design and the quality and materials are still the same.

When I first tried shooting trap I loved it and was hooked from day one. I got some personal coaching an Olympian Trap shooter as well as a State Chamion. Both of them told me I needed to learn to shoot trap with both eyes open; No if's, and's or but's. You have to learn to point and shoot, not aim and shoot (with one eye closed) when it comes to trap and skeet. My problem was that eventhough I had a Hi-Viz site on my Remington 870 Express shotgun, with both eyes open I saw it with double vision and it was very difficult to quickly pick out the right one based on my eye dominance and point and shoot at the flying clay target. (There are some tape circles you can put on your shooting glasses to stop the double vision/eye dominance problem but that is a pain in the butt to deal with and more of a handicap in my opinion.) So I started researching online and came across the Easy Hit USA Sights. I decided to give them a try. Installation took just a few minutes. Just follow the instructions and your Easy Hit sight will never budge. Totally solid. My first time out at the trap range using the Easy Hit Sight on my 870 Express my scores went from 17/25 to 23/25 instantly. WHAT A HUGE DIFFERENCE IT MADE FOR ME!! I freakin' LOVE this sight. My 2 sons were skeptical but quickly became believers so I got them one too. They shoot as well if not better than I do now. I only see one sight now with both eyes open and don't have to worry about anything else. I have my peripheral vision unhindered and can acquire my target very quickly. I just point and shoot without thinking about it and I powder the targets, not just break them in a few pieces. I can now shoot 24 or 25/25 consistantly. I prefer the larger 3mm 5" Sporting Green Sight. One of my sons perfers the shorter, smaller 2.5mm 2.75" Green Sight. It depends on your preference. All 3 of us prefer the green over the red. We feel the green gathers more light and stands out more. We have tried them both. Again, it is preference and whatever works best for you. We also use them on our Remington 11-87's for hunting. They are AWESOME for Upland Game, Waterfowl and rabbit hunting.

I don't work for Easy Hit or Champion or anyone selling Easy Hit Sights. I wish I had invented them though! I seriously believe in the product and won't own a shotgun without one installed. I can't recommend this product enough! In my opinion, this $20-$25 product will do more for your scores, consistency and success than spending $2,000-$10,000 on an expensinve shotgun. Oh and by the way, for anyone that says Easy Hit's are only for people with eye dominance problems, don't believe them, that is not true. Neither of my sons have eye dominance problems like I do, and they love them and their score improvements speak for themselves. ANYONE can and should use these sights. It won't hurt and chances are, they will help, probably significantly. I hope you find this information useful. Good luck and much success shooting and hunting!
